# Klaviyo

> Create a Klaviyo private API key and connect it in Notify Me.

Klaviyo receives each **subscriber** as a profile on the list you pick, plus a join event and a **Back in Stock** or **Price Drop** event after Notify Me sends the alert.

<Warning>
  Notify Me still sends the alert email. Klaviyo does not send it for you.
</Warning>

| - | - |
| Shopper becomes a subscriber | `Waitlist Joined` |
| Notify Me sends a restock alert | `Back in Stock` |
| Notify Me sends a price drop alert | `Price Drop` |

Use those metric names in a Klaviyo flow. The profile also gets product properties such as title, URL, and variant.

## Pause or disconnect

Choose **Manage** on the Klaviyo card.

* Turn off **Sync waitlist signups and alert events** to pause without removing the key. The badge shows **Inactive**.
* Paste a new key and **Test** to replace the current key.
* Choose **Disconnect** to remove the connection.
