Brevo receives each subscriber as a contact on the list you pick, plus join and alert events after Notify Me sends the email.
Notify Me still sends the alert email. Brevo does not send it for you.

Create an API key

Do this in Brevo, then paste the key into Notify Me. Use an API key, not an SMTP key.
1

Open API keys

In Brevo, open your account menu, then Settings → SMTP & API → API Keys & MCP.
Brevo SMTP and API keys page
2

Generate a new API key

Choose Generate a new API key. Complete identity verification if Brevo asks. Name it Notify Me. Set an expiry you can remember, or no expiration.Leave Create MCP server API key off. That option replaces the key Notify Me needs.

Choose Generate, copy the key, then OK. Brevo will not show it again. See Brevo: create and manage API keys.

What syncs

Use those event names in a Brevo automation. The contact also gets product properties such as title, URL, and variant.

Pause or disconnect

Choose Manage on the Brevo card.
  • Turn off Sync waitlist signups and alert events to pause without removing the key. The badge shows Inactive.
  • Paste a new key and Test to replace the current key.
  • Choose Disconnect to remove the connection.
